I went to the GP today, he checked my oxygen level, heart rate, and blood pressure, then asked me if I did any exercise. I told him a keep fit class once a week and yoga once a week, and he said he knew I did something because all my vital signs were so good! I was amazed.

Yoga has helped me with my menopausal symptoms. It calms some of the emotional symptoms and mood swings. It also helped with problems sleeping when I used the breathing and meditation techniques.

I understand visceral fat and dietary changes for my gut microbes. I've changed my diet, I walk more, do pelvic floor exercises and write in my journal.
I'm eating more veg and pulses, doing more weight bearing exercise and making more time for myself.
I found learning about my nutritional needs during menopause to be most useful. I'm more aware of my fibre, sugar and veg intake. I'm doing more meditation and exercise.
Learning about mindset and memory was the most useful for me. I'm exercising, walking and doing more classes. I've made changes and am spending more time with my hubby and girls.

I'm not looking at the time in the night when I wake up and I'm trying to wake up with my positive head on everyday. I'm eating full fat foods instead of low fat. I'm doing Sam's Core Strength, which I love.
I'm making more time for me, I'm exercising and have changed my diet. I found the food diaries useful and learning about the different symptoms have made me feel more normal again.
I'm going to bed earlier, drinking green tea and more water, doing more exercise and eating more vegetables. I've found sharing experiences with others most useful. The dietary information was very helpful.
I've gone back to meditating and self-care. Writing in a journal has been a godsend. I've seen many changes I need to make to my life through this course.
I joined Sam's Stretch & Tone class only a short while ago and already I have noticed a difference in my flexibility and strength. I had not exercised for a long while having suffered from burnout and was quite unfit.

Having worked my core muscles, I have been able to start doing the exercises that I couldn't do before with no pain. Just goes to show that if you work hard and keep trying that anything is possible. I'm proud of myself, it has also given me back my confidence.
